Before the Bell, with guest host Susan Delacourt, announces its guest lineup for the special edition on International Women’s Day (IWD). In keeping with the IWD 2019 theme of balance, the show will focus on the economic and political imbalance that continues and what is being done to address it. The show is this Friday, March 8 at 8:00 am at the National Arts Centre.
Susan’s guests on Before the Bell include: Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Karen McCrimmon MP (Kanata-Carleton), the first female CEO in EDC’s 75 year history Mairead Lavery, Aylin Lusi vice president of public affairs with UPS Canada, and from Women Deliver, Julie Savard-Shaw director of partnerships.
In addition, Oksana Kishchuck, an analyst with Abacus Data will highlight research on the disparity that still exists between millennial males and females. And Joelle Walker, director of public affairs with the Canadian Pharmacists Association will unveil the highlights of a new study and initiative their association is undertaking to bridge the gender gap at the most senior levels of their profession.
