Rebecca Jesseman is a Director and Senior Policy Advisor with the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA), a non-governmental organization created by Parliament to provide national leadership to address substance use in Canada. Ms. Jesseman provides trusted counsel and expert commentary on cannabis policy as well as related areas such as treatment system development and substance use in the criminal justice system. She is currently examining mechanisms for cannabis regulation with an emphasis on using available evidence to inform a public health approach. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa.
