Elena Aminkova joined the Canadian Clinical Trials Coordinating Centre (CCTCC) in November of 2015 as the Interim Director of Project Facilitation. Having utilized her project management skills in making the Canadian Clinical Trial Asset Map the success it is, Elena draws on these skills to enable the sponsors, provinces, and all stakeholders involved with the CCTCC to continue their collaborative efforts to drive forward the goals of the CCTCC and promote Canada as an attractive destination for the conduct of clinical trials.
Prior to the CCTCC, Elena was a Project Manager in Innovative Medicines Canada (formerly Rx&D) and lead the Canadian Clinical Trials Asset Map (CCTAM). Elena has over 10 years of project management and research experience in the academic, private, public and non-for-profit sectors. Elena holds a Master’s degree from Carleton University, has done studies in Mass Communications at the PhD level and speaks 5 languages.
