Discover what’s brewing at Before the Bell on Tuesday, January 16 at 8:00 a.m. at the NAC
Sixth Estate today announced veteran journalists Susan Delacourt and Catherine Clark will co-host Before the Bell, a new event series premiering in Ottawa at the National Arts Centre, Tuesday, January 16, at 8:00 a.m. Over the course of 16 events, Before the Bell examines the pressing business and policy issues from various perspectives and offers valuable insight into the current political and economic climate.
Before the Bell events feature candid conversations with some of the most influential people behind many of Canada’s important policy issues. Each one-hour event features three distinct segments: Susan Delacourt gets The Pulse from the live audience and pundits on the policy issues affecting the Hill, Canadians and Canada’s place in the world. In The Policy segment, Catherine Clark interviews an guest expert legislators and influencers to explore those same major policy initiatives in greater depth. In the final segment, The People, the in-attendance and live-stream audiences get their chance to question the panelists by using crowd source technology to capture questions and prioritize what the audience most wants answered.
When in Ottawa, Before the Bell events will be held in the atrium of the new National Arts Centre and streamed on Facebook Live. Attendance to the events is free however advance registration is required. Event registration can be found at the www.SixthEstate.ca website.
